Saved Festival 2012 This October

The very first Saved Festival was held last November of 2011 and it was very successful. All Christ believers gathered together and worshipped Him though songs. Great bands and personality were there. That was unforgettable.

Hillsong Live Unveiled New Album "Cornerstone"

Cornerstone is the twenty-first album by Australian praise and worship band Hillsong and is set to release in July of this year. This was announced through their Twitter account earlier this month.

This Hillsong's new live album is based on Ephesians 2:20 "Together, we are His house, built on the foundation of apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus Himself." (NLT).

New Year, New Start

You know how it is; there s always someone (normally during Christmas) who you need to buy little present for. Something fun or silly or not too pricey. I expect that is why you can buy the "wash-away-your-sins Soul-saver Pack" from you local bookstore. For a mere $5, you get a little box with bubble bath "for a sanctified soak", holy water "dab on redemption for blessed relief", and guide book "write your wrongs on 32 purified pages".  According to the box, it is cardinal-approved, bishop-tested, oh and "blessed by the best!"

January 1st, of course, is the one day of the year when most people are thinking about making a fresh start, with a a clean slate of last year's mess up behind them. Today you can make some resolution. You can even have a "sanctified soak" with some gimmicky bubble bath. But if you really want to be made clean and have a new beginning, then you need Jesus. When we "fess up about our mess up, when we ask God to forgive us and give us new start, He loves it! Imagine that! Whatever last year was like, you can start this year, clean, pure and right with God. You just have to ask Him and be ready to live a new way. Check out 1 John 1:8, "If we say we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth. But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just, quick to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong."
