A Divine Mandate

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34 - 35.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU! Jesus said.

What being a Christian means to you?

...worshiping?

...surrendering?

...submission?

...going to church?

...maintaining a devotion?

...tithing?

...reading bible?

...forgetting sin?

...sharing Gospel?

...loving people?

Jesus said: ""If you love me, you will obey what I command." - John 14:16

Do we love Jesus? Does being a Christian mean Loving Jesus? My answer is yes!

Then Jesus also said: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34 - 35

Should we love or show love to other people?

Yes, because Jesus said and it is one of the things that He wants us to do.

Yes, because we love Jesus!

During Jesus' life on earth He used to talk to His disciples directly with His biological and physical voice. And I believe that until today Jesus still talks to us, through different ways and circumstances. If we just listen carefully to that voice we will hear it as audible as it sounds like a real voice.

Have we ever come to a point of listening to the soft and gentle voice of our Lord wholeheartedly and attentively?

Many of us have been living under God's gracious love for so long now, but sad to say many of us still have yet to hear God's voice. I don't really know why, maybe we are just not listening, maybe God is not really talking to us Or maybe Someone or something is blocking that God's voice that tells us something very important in relation to our neighbor.

Love One Another... soft whisper of Jesus.

My son I love you, could you love them for me?

Could you tell them how much I love them? - Jesus.

Last night I was doing my devotion. I was reading through the book of Isaiah then until I reached chapter 6. This is all about the calling or the anointing of lips of Isaiah.

Isaiah heard the voice of God...

Then I heard a voice of the Lord saying "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" Then I said "Here I am Send Me" - Isaiah 6:8

God talked to Isaiah and asked "Whom shall I send and will go for us?" then Isaiah without any question and second thinking, he offered himself.

I believe God is still asking the same question to our generation. And God is still waiting for us to answer, "HERE WE ARE, SEND US!"

My fellow young people of this generation living under God's Love, we have been given a divine mandate from heaven...

A task that we need to fulfill.

A love that we need to share.

A light that we need to shine.

We are the generation that God entrusted to be bring light when there is darkness...

to bring hope when there is injustice...

to bring love when there is hatred...

to bring remedy when there is brokenness...

and to bring Jesus in the hearts of the lost...

God is still asking, "Whom shall I send and will go for us?"

Rev. Rick Warren Prayed For President Obama's Inauguration

Pastor Rick Warren, the author of the best selling book "Purpose Driven Life" was invited by President Barack Obama on his inauguration on the 20th of January, 2009 to lead the nation for prayer or inaugural invocation.

Here is the transcript of the prayer delivered by Pastor Rick Warren on the inauguration day.

Let us pray.

Almighty God, our father, everything we see and everything we can't see exists because of you alone. It all comes from you, it all belongs to you. It all exists for your glory. History is your story. The Scripture tells us, "Hear, oh Israel, the Lord is our God; the Lord is one." And you are the compassionate and merciful one. And you are loving to everyone you have made.

Now today, we rejoice not only in America's peaceful transfer of power for the 44th time. We celebrate a hinge-point of history with the inauguration of our first African American president of the United States.

We are so grateful to live in this land, a land of unequaled possibility, where the son of an African immigrant can rise to the highest level of our leadership.

And we know today that Dr. King and a great cloud of witnesses are shouting in heaven.

Give to our new president, Barack Obama, the wisdom to lead us with humility, the courage to lead us with integrity, the compassion to lead us with generosity. Bless and protect him, his family, Vice President Biden, the Cabinet and every one of our freely elected leaders.

Help us, oh God, to remember that we are Americans, united not by race or religion or blood, but to our commitment to freedom and justice for all.

When we focus on ourselves, when we fight each other, when we forget you, forgive us. When we presume that our greatness and our prosperity is ours alone, forgive us. When we fail to treat our fellow human beings and all the Earth with the respect that they deserve, forgive us.

And as we face these difficult days ahead, may we have a new birth of clarity in our aims, responsibility in our actions, humility in our approaches and civility in our attitudes, even when we differ.

Help us to share, to serve and to seek the common good of all.

May all people of goodwill today join together to work for a more just, a more healthy and a more prosperous nation and a peaceful planet. And may we never forget that one day all nations and all people will stand accountable before you.

We now commit our new president and his wife, Michelle, and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, into your loving care.

I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life, Yeshua, Isa, Jesus [Spanish pronunciation], Jesus, who taught us to pray, "Our father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever."

Amen.

Jesus Will Come

Jesus will come to earth again to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement. So Christ was crucified once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him. -Hebrews 9:27-28.

''Behold I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood''.

'' I Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright morning star.''

The spirit and the bride say, ''come!'' and let him who hears say ''come!'' Whoever is thirsty let him come, and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plaques described in this book and if anyone takes away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

He who testifies to these things says, ''yes I am coming soon''.

Amen. Come. Lord Jesus, the grace of the Lord Jesus be God's people, Amen. -revelation 22:12-21

It is so very nice to know that Jesus himself tells us that someday He will come for His followers and will give the salvation to those who are waiting fro him.

I remember those words spoken by Jesus during His time here on earth as human whenever I listen to the song entitled "You'll Come" by hillsong. It gives me more strength to keep on living with Jesus here in my heart and follow him whenever possible and maintain the fire in my heart for our beloved saviour.

I admit to myself that it is not that easy to live life fully surrendered to Christ and what I can really assure you is that nothing more will give you happiness than being secured in the loving and victorious arms of Jesus. (thank you Jesus for the love).

Money can give you happiness.

Promotion can give you happiness.

Nice house can give you happiness.

Friends can give you happiness.

Family can give you happiness.

Those happiness are not permanent.

But Jesus can give us happiness that never fades. Happiness that someday He will come for us and bring us back home he prepared for us in heaven with the ever-loving Father!!!

Let me share you the lyrics of the song "You'll Come".

I have decided I have resolved
To wait upon you Lord
My rock and redeemer shall not be moved
I?ll wait upon you Lord

Prechorus
As surely as the sun will rise
You?ll come to us
As certain as the dawn appears

Chorus
You'll come let your glory fall
As you respond to us
Spirit reign flood our hearts
[ Hillsong Lyrics are found on www.songlyrics.com ]
With holy fire again

Verse 2
We are not shaken we are not moved
We wait upon you Lord
Our Mighty deliverer my triumph and truth
I'll wait upon you Lord

Bridge
Chains be broken
Lives be healed
Eyes be opened
Christ is revealed
