Anne Rice Comes To Jesus!

Anne Rice is a best-selling American author of gothic and religious-themed books. Her books have sold nearly 100 million copies, making her one of the most widely read authors in modern history.

She was reported by the CNN news on the 31st of October of this year that Anne Rice has returned to Jesus after spending nearly four decades of being an Atheist. Here are some of the comment she threw during a phone interview:

"To be able to take the tools, the apprenticeship, whatever I learned from being a vampire writer, or whatever I was -- to be able to take those tools now and put them in the service of God is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful opportunity," she said. "And I hope I can redeem myself in that way. I hope that the Lord will accept the books I am writing now."

"I do think that those dark books were always talking about religion in their own way. They were talking about the grief for a lost faith," she said.

She pressed the point: "I mean, I've made vampires believable to grown women. Now, if I can do that, I can make our Lord Jesus Christ believable to people who've never believed in him. I hope and pray."

  2. WOW!!!!

WHAT AN AMAZING TRANSFORMATION GOD MADE IN HER LIFE!..

-Well,I'm so impressed and so happy knowing that she is one of us now a "Christian".
-Ann Rice is familiar to me, I've seen the motion picture of one of her books, Interview With the Vampire,(played by the biggest hollywood stars)and seing it,I concluded that writer didn't even put GOD in "perspective" (in the movie)..or the reality that there is SomeONE who is powerful and greater them ALL..and that is GOD (better watch the movie then you'll undertand)
I set aside that thought thinking that-that is just a movie,--but back on my mind i questioned myself ..is this film is a true story? Who is the writer? Why is the writer didn't even give emphasized GOD has Sureme Power to beat them ALL?Seem frightening and I almost believe everything that seem very real in the movie itself...(see the movie,, if I'm not mistaken?)
..well, that was my younger days

-Incredible that I got the answers to all those question now.. but not just that made everythimg so wonderful ..it is, we are going to welcome Ann Rice to the Family.

-GOD BLESS her in her new life's journey and Passion.

  3. That was not based on the true-to-life story of course.. =)

Interview with the vampire was about a vamfire telling his 200-year life of being a vampire so it is not true....

And I just found out that Anne Rice went back to her catholic faith but not Christian faith. So Is that OK? I mean if she returned to her catholic faith then she will practice catholic rites, right? I just wondered!!!

=) but anyways still happy to know that after being an atheist for almost 40 years she came back to Jesus as Her Lord.

anyone would bother to answer my question, that would be great!

  4. For me i think its ok as long as Rice realy believes in Jesus that He is the only way to the father. That she c0mes to Jesus as her saviour and Lord. As you can see she has been calling Jesus as Lord and she h0nous that Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of her sins. And it is not about the religi0n, its about your personal relationship with Christ and that you hon0r that He died on the cross to forgive you and restore the our broken fellowship with God.

    God bless you Wilma!

  5. Rice's message to all Christians around the world...

"Christians have been arguing with each other for 2,000 years. … What I hope for is that we can love one another, no matter how much we disagree; that we can embrace one another, no matter how tough the arguing becomes. … If we love, we can overcome much of what divides us as people."

And Anne's additional message to some people who are keep on asking her to make some vampire books...

Rice says, "I would never go back, not even if they say, 'You will be financially ruined; you've got to write another vampire book.' I would say no. I have no choice. I would be a fool for all eternity to turn my back on God like that."

It only proved that no other things or name or nothing is more powerful than the name of Jesus!!!

That no matter what happens all people's tongues will end up worshiping Jesus and Him The Lord and saviour.

I just remember Philippians 2:9-11 says there...

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
